Hanging w/ my peeps

I am honestly amazed that the dogs do not weight 500lbs a piece. They score so many goodies from Jackson on a daily basis. At least it helps keep my floors clean. :) Here are a few pics of Jackson hanging out with his furry sibs. Cadbury won't hang around for measly carrots. ;)

You made me a Mom

I had an absolutely wonderful Mother's Day! Mark and Jackson spoiled me rotten and I am so lucky to have them. It just amazes me that I have been a Mom for two years now. I can barely wrap my brain around that. I want to write something really heartfelt to Jackson about how much I love being a Mom but I want to share this picture first.

Phew finally an update!

WOW I have been very naughty and neglecting this poor blog. Jackson has been keeping me busy as always but that is no excuse. Let's see....we've been to the zoo 3 times in the past 2 weeks. We bought the year pass. :) Jackson rode on the train at the zoo for the first time and LOVED it. I see many more train rides on our future. We've been to many of the various parks around our community while trying in vain to burn off some of that toddler energy. Of course we make multiple trips to Petsmart and Iowa Pet Foods to see the "puppies and kitties".

Jackson is such a chatterbox now. It completely cracks me up. Some of the things he says/ has said recently:
-after pointing out some type of vehicle (Jeep, Hummer, van, low-rider) he will exclaim "I can't even believe it!". Hilarious
-We went to Red Lobster last week and Jackson loved watching the "clobsters"
-If I am intently working on something he'll come up behind me and say "What's wrong Momma" in the most concerned voice you have ever heard.
He has also starting asking for kisses at random times. Instantly melts me into a helpless pill of goo.

It is just mind blowing to me when I look down at him now and see a little boy now. I marvel at his curiosity and view of the world. So much fun!
