Like Mother... like Son. Jackson has a blankie that he loves dearly. He actually has two because I cut the original blankie into two to have a backup. But now he just likes having both. He likes to tickle his nose with the corner of the blankie when he tries to fall asleep. I had a beloved blankie as well (I still have it...shhhh don't tell anyone) and used to widdle the edges with my fingers. Ahhhh the memories. :)
We read stories before bed each night and Jackson usually pics the same books to read each night. We do get different books from the library every other week or so but he still chooses favorites to read over and over. We were reading one of his favorites last night and Jackson actually read the entire book to me word for word. He wasn't "reading" the words but I couldn't believe that he knew every word on each place. He even said the words with the same inflection that I do when reading to him. So cute!
Marky has been working on the days of the week with Jackson and he told me yesterday that Jackson was listing the days....Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Falkor Day, etc. LOL Falkor is our Great Dane pup.
Jackson's current favorite saying while he's eating or drinking anything he likes is...."mmmmm this is deeeeelicous!" Cracks me up every time.
